Worship in the Park 2024
Experience faith and fellowship in a beautiful outdoor setting, featuring a message from Rev. Pat Coakley.
We’re excited to share the video from the 2024 Labor Day Weekend "Worship in the Park" event! 🎥✨
Hosted by the Richland County Ministerial Association, this special gathering brought together churches from across our community, including Boaz United Methodist Church, Church of the Nazarene, Five Points Lutheran Church, Grace Community Church, New House, Richland Center Free Methodist Church, Richland Center United Methodist Church, and St. John's Lutheran Church.
The offering collected during the event was generously divided between Church Women United and the Richland County Ministerial Association. Church Women United supports many local Christian ministries through donations and proceeds from the Family Thrift Store in Richland Center, and the Ministerial Association will be using their portion to provide a college scholarship for a local Richland Center High School student.
We were blessed to hear a powerful message from Rev. Pat Coakley, who delivered a sermon titled "Get Up!" based on John 5:1-15. Rev. Coakley brought to life the story of a man who, after 38 years of suffering, found hope and healing through Jesus at the pool of Bethesda. His message inspires us all to move beyond our struggles and embrace the healing and new beginnings that faith offers.
If you couldn’t join us in person, or if you’d like to relive the experience, we invite you to watch the video and be uplifted by the beautiful worship and message shared that day. 🙏
